Yeah it really highlights the incompetence of Dem decision makers. Not that they could have predicted this cancer diagnosis but they surely must have witnessed his cognitive decline and yet they still decided he'd be fine for the next 4 years, honestly wtf. It's just completely disrespectful to the voting public and, i might just add, it demonstrates just how toxic and corrupting duopolous political systems can be. You choose anyone, it doesn't fucking matter, around half the voters will pick your side and half will pick the other. It's just fucking lazy, and somewhat pointless.

Anyway, AOC is 35 now. But you know the Dem machine is eyeing off the completely distasteful Gavin Newsom. So we might be about to get another fucking terrible option in 2028, if there even is an election then.

Donald Trump says he’s not ready to walk away from mediating peace between Ukraine and Russia but admits there’s a “red line in his head,” and he’s getting close to it.

“Big egos involved, but I think something’s going to happen,” Mr Trump said today. “And if it doesn’t, I’ll just back away and they’ll have to keep going.”

Well his, that's the big ego, the US could have really gone all out and finished the war sooner, but it would have required arming Ukraine with advanced weaponry, and lots of money and extra assistance, but Trump, he wanted to get it done fast so he could take the credit, so instead of helping Ukraine fight he decided the best move was to compel Ukraine to surrender so he could take the credit for ending the war, and finally get his Nobel Peace Prize, that's really what this has been about since the beginning, he is jealous because Obama got the Nobel Peace Prize, so he wants one!

Now it has become clear to even him that Putin will never stop unless militarily defeated he has noped out, no Peace Prize there for the taking! He's just given up.

Interesting; the conspiracy-osphere hasn't cast doubt on Scott (all round A-hole libertarian nutbag and bigtime Trump supporter) Adams when he announced that he has the same kind of cancer as Joe Biden and that he expected to die sometime in the next few months.

At least he had the perception to call out the trolling/JAQ conspiracy junk - a little bit.

Adams — who has long been a vocal Trump supporter — didn't name names but said it was hard to watch some peoples' lack of sympathy for Biden, "especially because the public has all decided to become prostate experts."

"I'd like to extend my respect and compassion for the ex-president and his family because they're going through an especially tough time," Adams added. "It's a terrible disease."

He's still an arsehole, but.

For what it's worth, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in August 2009, aged 57, after having biopsies taken due to an abnormally elevated PSA (prostate-specific antigen) level being revealed in my 6-monthly blood tests.

The Gleason score of the biopsies subsequently taken was seven, which means that the cancer was moderately aggressive. They also showed some peri-neural invasion (i.e. the cancer had invaded some of the nerve cells that run through the prostate). It should be noted that although my Gleason score was seven (out of ten), I had no physical symptoms that would indicate that I had cancer!

After weighing up the pros and cons of both treatments, I elected to undergo radiation therapy rather than surgery, and the outcome was far better than I was expecting! Both treatments could potentially result in one or more of bladder incontinence, bowel incontinence, and impotence, but thankfully, I came out unscathed!
