A video on how a lot of American youngsters are leaving school with a low level of object permanence, ok that sound bad, but then I saw this chart,and nearly spit my biscuit out! Video starts at the chart;

Ok funny this, China plans a passenger jet faster and quieter than the Concorde. 50 years ago this might have been newsworthy, even 40 years ago, but no-one in the last 30 or 40 years should have any doubt it can be done, the point is, why? With advances in aeronautics, materials and engines any country in the world with aircraft manufacturing capability could probably do this, its not big news, certainly not worthy of the amazement and adulation news.com is heaping on it!
China’s state-owned aircraft company Comac has revealed plans for a stealthy supersonic jet that can fly at more than 1,200mph.
Designs for the ultra-fast jet, dubbed C949, promise significantly less noise than the retired Concorde and a 50 per cent further flight range.
Engineers at Comac have revealed details of the next-generation aircraft in a recent academic paper.
The Concorde was first flown nearly 50 years ago, its design and planning started over 70 years ago, if you couldn't build it better, faster, quieter and with longer range today I would be surprised indeed. In fact I would have to say that those specs considering the advances we have made since make it barely better than the Concorde. I mean it's not like they are the only ones developing supersonic passenger aircraft, meanwhile Venus Aerospace, along with Sierra Space and Hermeus continue work on the new hypersonic passenger aircraft that can travel reportedly between 5,000mph and 7,000mph while China is planning to build Concorde 2.0!
I just think this whole thing has a Lindi Chamberlain whiff about it. I hope she beats the rap.

Very little coverage in the media about this report, I can only find 'The Age' and 'Australian Jewish News' seeming to mention this report.. Interesting considering how damning this is of a rather prestigious university. Talking to family this really is barely the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the selective/specific racism apparent on the left in Australia including at the institutional level.
Jewish students at Sydney University had to contend with activists who entered lecture halls chanting antisemitic slogans while others carried banners saying “Jews not allowed”, a preliminary SafeWork NSW investigation into campus culture found.
It said that while the university had the authority, policies and procedures in place to eliminate antisemitism, it failed to act for 11 months and only did so when the safety watchdog began investigating and negative media stories started to pile up.
“Jewish workers and students experienced antisemitism daily whilst on campus, creating a workplace of fear, anxiousness and a fear of retribution towards Jewish workers and students because they were Jewish people,” the report said.
