Well, that was quick. I can barely wait to see who'll be proposed next. I was thinking of the guy who wore that weird animal skin to the Jan 6 riot. I reckon he'd make an excellent attorney general.

The QAnon shaman!

If he's not available, I nominate Paul Michael Glaser, I bet he knows all about the law because he was in Starsky and Hutch. Sadly David Soul is no longer with us.

Way too many people do not understand that distinction..

This is for them not you ;-) -> lot's of things inhibit or kill viruses in massive doses in test tubes (which those in-vitro studies did use in this case), so what? to achieve an equivalent dose in the human body would kill you many times over.... Hell cannabinoids also kill COVID in a test tube, if it was that simple we could all just get baked and wipe COVID out for good, sadly won't work either.

Trumps pick for defence secretary expects the military to mobilize against civilians if there is a general uprising. Just think about that for a moment, the people who voted them in should be put down by the military if they rise up, this is the absolute definition of a military dictatorship;

Perhaps not as obviously scary as the christian nationalist in charge of defense but here's the new treasurer.

Bessent, 62, has advocated for tax reform and deregulation, particularly to spur more bank lending and energy production, as noted in a recent opinion piece he wrote for the Wall Street Journal.

Deregulation, withdraw funds for Ukraine, all in for fossil fuel exploitation. Trump's trade tariffs? Well...he's a hedge fund manager so he'll probably come up with a tradable tariff derivative that make everyone really fucking rich...i mean, everyone who is already really fucking rich, it'll make them richer (which goes without saying but let's say it anyway).

And to add on top of all that, given the extreme invective and hatred the name has been treated to by Republicans over the years, he's a Soros protege. Yes that Soros, the one all the Republicans hate. It would be humorous if it wasn't so bizarre!

US Senator threatens to invade the Netherlands!
Cotton, a staunch ally of Israel, made a thinly veiled threat to take military action against the Netherlands if they deign to comply with the warrants they are legally required to comply with as ICC member states.

“The ICC is a kangaroo court and Karim Khan is a deranged fanatic. Woe to him and anyone who tries to enforce these outlaw warrants. Let me give them all a friendly reminder: the American law on the ICC is known as The Hague Invasion Act for a reason. Think about it,” the Arkansas Republican wrote in a post on X.

If he weren't dead, I reckon Bernie Madoff would've been a shoo-in for Treasury.

So true! And if he wasn't fictional, the late great Hannibal Lecter for Attorney general would work well. Trump is a great admirer
